I am confident I have hooked up everything correctly but when I get to the final window where I can view what the VCR is playing/what is being recorded onto my blank DVD, the audio works fine but the picture will not come up. Totally worth my time considering we had, 10 tapes needing conversion. Trying to make my honestech VHS to DVD converter 7.0 work. I got the PC + Mac version instead of one or the other. So doing this on the computer was a far better option. Besides after your done with your con version project, you still have $300.00 piece of equipment, ok granted you would still need a VHS Player, which since are obsolete, and now $100.00 or more new. #HONESTECH VIDBOX 7.0 PRODUCT KEY UPGRADE#
I was still able to download 5.0 with an old product key, but I cant unlock the upgrade with the new product key. It can be lengthy if you have many hours of footage. Tech support told me they couldnt troubleshoot because 5.0 was too old. One thing to be mindful is not to mess with the cables, as they are sensitive, any slight movement and you get a disconnection pop up message. I love this product its very easy to convert your old VHS tapes to Digital, or DVD. Video Conversion is very simple, cables are sensitive though.
